We provide the best services

Geotechnical Engineering, Land & Hydrographic Survey, Construction Industries services across the Country.

Geotechnical
  • Geotechnical Field Investigation : We execute comprehensive site exploration using boreholes and trial pits to map subsurface stratigraphy.

  • Geotechnical Laboratory Testing : We determine physical characteristics, shear strength, compressibility, and permeability to calculate how the soil will behave under structural loads.

  • Field Testing for Shallow Foundations : To confirm soil bearing capacity at shallow depths, we perform on-site verification tests (such as Plate Load Tests).

  • Chemical Testing of Soil :We analyze the soil’s chemical composition to detect aggressive elements like sulphates, chlorides, and acidity (pH).

Pile Load Test

  • Static Vertical Load Test : The gold standard for verification. We apply a direct vertical load to the pile head using hydraulic jacks against a reaction frame or kentledge. This test measures the exact settlement behavior under load, confirming the pile’s ultimate bearing capacity.

  • Lateral Load Test : This test assesses the pile’s resistance to horizontal forces. By applying a sideways load, we determine how the pile deflects, which is critical for structures subjected to wind, seismic activity, or earth retention pressures.

  • Pile Dynamic Analysis (PDA) : A rapid and cost-effective method for testing pile capacity and quality. Using high-strain dynamic testing with sensors attached to the pile, we analyze stress waves generated by a hammer impact. This data evaluates total bearing capacity, skin friction, and the structural integrity of the pile shaft.

Quality Confirmatory Test
  • Pile Integrity Testing (PIT)

We offer low-strain dynamic testing (PIT) as a rapid, non-destructive method to assess the structural quality of concrete piles. This testing is essential for detecting hidden defects such as cracks, necking, or soil inclusions without damaging the pile.

Sonic Echo Test : This method evaluates the pile shaft by applying a low-strain impact with a hand-held hammer. An accelerometer measures the velocity of the stress wave as it travels down the pile and reflects back. By analyzing these “echoes,” we can identify discontinuities, confirm pile length, and detect potential voids or poor concrete quality.

Pile Boring Log Confirmation We integrate PIT data with site boring logs to validate the “as-built” condition of the foundation. By cross-referencing the wave reflection depth with the drilling records, we confirm that the pile reaches the intended bearing stratum and matches the documented design depth, ensuring no discrepancies exist between the logs and the actual installed pile.
